Real estate development has a heavy and regulated responsibility to deliver projects of the highest quality, while protecting the natural, social and cultural assets of the Emirate. Despite the frenzied activity within the industry, our philosophical approach to development is designed to differentiate Abu Dhabi from many of its contemporaries.
ALDAR Properties PJSC was established to spearhead land development and increase investment opportunities in Abu Dhabi city. Today we have secured over 33 million square meters of land area valued at over AED 39 billion in some of Abu Dhabi's most significant sites. 
The company's main remit is to provide master planning for many of the city's strategic sites and thereafter to implement phased development. Our developments are aimed at satisfying the requirements of local residents, incoming key workers and visitors. They must add value, and be economically and environmentally sustainable in order to facilitate the economic and social development of Abu Dhabi.
ALDAR's key strengths lie in our understanding of the significance of infrastructure which is the most valuable and essential asset of major urban development. As a company we value the ability to participate in helping to shape the nations physical environment. We take great effort in combining local talent with the world's best architects and designers to create both impressive and functional developments that are reflective of the city's culture and heritage.
In addition to our development role we are investors in and managers of property (assets). We therefore are committed to the creation of continuous added value and necessary long-term maintenance of our developments.
We are determined to fulfill our goals and ambitions to create distinctive and imaginative developments that will stand proudly against any in the world. To this end, we have already announced several major real estate development and re-development projects including;

  • Al Raha Gardens development 1.06 million square metres
  • Al Gurm development 1.8 million square metres
  • Central Market redevelopment 63,000 square metres
